About My Studio

Teaching in my peaceful little studio is truly a pleasure. I am available for lessons there from Monday through Friday. Students often comment on the comfortable waiting area, as well as a professional room ideal for private instruction. It is my hope that people feel at home here. It is not uncommon to see children doing homework or mothers asleep on the couch in the waiting area. The studio is fully equipped with a small recording studio, several keyboards, many guitars, amplifiers, drums, and a library of sheet music, CD’s, cassettes, records, sound system, PA system, microphones, auxiliary percussion, and computer controlled MIDI gear, and a copy machine. I believe that it is very important to have everything necessary for a fun, well instructed, professional session.

My students and myself has observed that a lesson is more successful in my studio as opposed to the students home. This is largely due to the fact that the studio environment provides a professional atmosphere where people can get away from the interruptions of home life. This lack of interruptions at my studio provides a concentrated lesson, making the most of our time together. Furthermore, due to the large array of resources here (instruments, books, recordings, copy machine, studio equipment, etc…) this is the optimum place of study. All in all, the professional studio environment is the optimum location for successful lessons.

Note: When I relocated here to South Florida, I offered lessons in the students home as well.
Because of the volume of students that I have, it is not feasible to offer lessons in the students home at this time.
